The twin room was modern and featured a comfortable double bed. The staff were fantastic. The hotel's proximity to a 24-hour store was great.

Thank you for a VERY GOOD stay. The rooms are large and impressive with orange shagpile carpet. It offers excellent services.
The bathrooms are tiny.

Really good overall experience. Fairly clean hotel, very very helpful staff, excellent and absolutely perfect location close to a non-stop store. Location just next door to the local restaurants and old city center. Double room with double bed

The value for money at Hotel Bistrita was excellent, with a clean and comfortable room that had a nice bar and fridge. The location in the centre was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, all speaking fluent English.
The breakfast items could have been better with more variety and tastier options.

For some EUR more, you can use the Business Room instead of the Standard. The difference in the quality is more than the difference in the price.
In the restaurant is Life music and when the musicians are playing you can hardly hear the person you are talking with.

Good location, good breakfast, friendly staff
It's in some way renovated hotel, but you can see it's one build in older style. Not too good furnished.

The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful though did not speak English.
Did not like that hallways were not well lit.

Location is good. room size good and good bathrooms with showers. Breakfast was Ok but not great. The hotel did not have an elevator and when on the 3rd floor it was difficult with luggage.

Had a lovely Christmas stay! The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food to choose from. The room was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds. The location was spot on, very close to plenty of shops and restaurants. , there was a fantastic restaurant nearby which served great local cuisine.
The hotel lacked a lift which made it difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. the hotel itself was quite dated and could use some updating.

The hotel was centrally located, and the rooms were comfortable and beautiful. Included breakfast was American-style with eggs cooked to order and served in the dining room. Free wifi.
The hotel could have been wonderful. The room was beautiful, and had a balcony looking towards the city center. Unfortunately, the dining room is available to rent for events, and when I arrived at 15:00, there was a wedding party being hosted. They were playing very loud music and yelling. I asked how long it would continue, and the staff said maybe 22:00, maybe longer. My room was above the dining room, and it was like being above a night club. It would probably be a very nice place to stay if there are no events going on. If not for this, I would have rated the hotel 5/5. Also, electricity is only on if your keycard is inserted in the wall, so you can't charge your laptop/cell phone when you are not in the room.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
